Felts / Tension Pads
%100 polyester needle felts are used primarily in flat steel slitting lines to apply pressure on the
surface of the sheet, providing tension to ensure the strips are tightly wound.
These felts, with their high abrasion resistance, effectively protect the sheet from scratches while
applying pressure. Additionally, the felts can be used to absorb excess oil from the sheet surface
and clean it. They are suitable for slitting processes of cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, and
aluminum.
